Samira Hussain is the BBC’s South Asia Correspondent, based in New Delhi, India. Before that, she spent more than a decade as the BBC’s North America Business Correspondent based in New York City. She started her career at the CBC where she was both a producer and a reporter, working in Toronto, Ottawa and Washington, D.C. Samira is a mental health advocate, speaks candidly about her own struggles with mental health and believes everyone working in newsrooms can benefit.
