The Taking Care Report followed a survey of 1200 Canadian media workers which in May 2022 documented high rates of stress, anxiety and trauma exposure on the job. Findings and recommendations are also available in French .

ACTION

In response, Canadian news leaders held a Taking Care Roundtable Summit in Ottawa in late 2022 to hear from global experts and to identify key issues affecting mental health in the news industry.
